Launch Redsnow RC14 in Administrator mode and browse to the downloaded ipsw file. Once the IPSW File is effectively determined, choose the alternatives essential. Click on on Install Cydia and proceed further. Off your gadget and connect with the pc. Now stick to on-screen instructions to set your device in DFU Mode.

Soon after your gadget is detected in DFU mode, redsnow will get started the jailbreak process. Stay back again and wait for the approach to full. Following the jailbreak is comprehensive, the system will reboot in jailbroken state.

Oil prices surge; Brent crude hits $120.

Oil prices surged to new heights on Monday, with Brent crude topping $120 a barrel for the first time since August 22, 2008, as traders eyed a raging rebellion in oil-exporter Libya. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in May, closed at $108.47 a barrel, a gain of 53 cents from Friday.

In London, Brent North Sea crude for May delivery leaped $2.36 to settle at $121.06, after topping at $121.29 just before the session close. The market kept a focus on fighting that continued on Monday in Libya between rebels and forces loyal to leader Muammar Gaddafi. Rebel fighters made a new attempt to recapture Brega, advancing to the outskirts of the oil refinery town only to be forced back under artillery fire.

Before the crisis, Libya exported 1.3 million barrels a day of crude oil, more than 1.5 percent of global demand, in large part to Europe. Those exports have dwindled to a trickle amid the uprising.

That makes Brent crude futures, the European benchmark contract, more sensitive to the situation in Libya than the US market, where crude oil reserves are abundant. "The longer these battles are going on, the more the market is realising the supply is going to be offline," said Matt Smith of Summit Energy.

Luke Donald spoiled Martin Kaymer's rise to No. 1 in the world by winning the Match Play Championship with a week so dominant that he never played the 18th hole. With the match tied at the turn, Donald won two straight holes and finished off Kaymer on the 16th hole for a 3-and-2 victory and his first World Golf Championship title.

Donald played only 89 holes over six matches and never trailed in any of them. It was only the third win in the last five years for the 33-year-old Englishman, who will go to No. 3 in the world.

A founding member of the PKR tore a replica of the party's membership card in a symbolic gesture of breaking away from the party and pledging his support to Barisan Nasional.

Ng Lum Yong, 49, tore the card that bore PKR membership number 0000012 and, at the same time, submitted an application form to be an MCA member to MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek at a press conference here Tuesday. Ng, who joined the PKR in 1999, said he quit because Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was “leading the party to nowhere.” He pledged to lead some 1,000 PKR members from mostly Selangor, Perak, Penang and Sabah to join the MCA by March.

Wearing a white shirt with the 1Malaysia logo, Ng, a businessman from Kuala Lumpur, said he was joining the MCA because of his confidence in the leadership of Dr Chua and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. “I have been following the two leaders via their websites and Facebook,” he told a press conference to announce his resignation from the PKR.

Present was former PKR Youth chief Ezam Mohd Nor, now an Umno campaigner. Dr Chua said that since he became party president on March 28 last year, more than 17,300 people had joined the MCA and 60% of them were below 40. Regarding PKR members who had left their party, Dr Chua said the fact that 13 elected representatives had quit the party showed that the leadership was no longer in control. “It shows that members are frustrated and had lost confidence in the leadership,” he added.

AirAsia Bhd group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes denies there are any plan to buy a stake in British airline Virgin Atlantic as reported by the Sunday Times newspaper. “There are no discussions taking place,” he told StarBiz from London yesterday. Asked why there was such speculation, he replied: “I have no idea.”

The Sunday Times said in an unsourced report yesterday that Fernandes, who runs Asia's largest budget carrier by fleet size, had renewed his interest in the UK airline after previously considering and deciding against a bid.

Any deal could be worth up to 1bil, the newspaper said. British billionaire Richard Branson has a 51% stake in the airline he founded in 1984. Singapore Airlines paid 600mil for a 49% stake in Virgin Atlantic in 2000.

Reuters reported that the UK airline said earlier this month it had received several “lines of enquiry” about tie-ups with rivals after it hired Deutsche Bank to assess the aviation market. It said the bank's review was expected to last for several months and did not name those interested in a possible tie-up. Increased competition from lowcost airlines, weak demand and high fuel prices have combined to squeeze many carriers in recent years.

The low-margin industry has gone through a period of rapid consolidation and Reuters said analysts believed larger carriers such as Virgin Atlantic needed partners to stay ahead of the competition.

The Chinese cheerleaders of the Guangzhou Asian Games have headlined the local press over the past few days, with those on the beach volleyball and basketball court getting an excessive share of the spotlight. And at least one losing player blames them for his team's defeat.

"The cheerleaders had an effect on how we played. I think they had something to do with our losing the match, " said Yemenite beach volleyball player Adeeb Mahfoudh to The Telegraph yesterday. Yemen lost its beach volleyball game against Indonesia on November 16.

According to Ben Ben, captain of one of the beach volleyball cheering teams, most cheerleaders are university students who went through a national draft. To prepare for this Asian Games, those girls, whose average age is 20, have gone through some intensive training since June.

Porn star to sue Charlie Sheen

The porn star found in Charlie Sheen's hotel room during his hotel outburst last week is planning to sue him.

Porn star Christina Walsh – known professionally as Capri Anderson – has told friends she felt her life was in danger and she was being held in the room where she was found with Charlie – who was "drunk and naked" and acting wildly when police arrived - against her will, according to gossip site TMZ.

The incident at the Plaza hotel in New York last Tuesday saw Charlie, 45, breaking a chair and causing damage to several hotel items – reportedly after he couldn't find his $170,000 Patek Philippe 5970 watch or his wallet, which he accused Christina of stealing.

As this happened Christina – who it has been claimed was to be paid $12,000 by Charlie to sleep with him - locked herself in the bathroom and called hotel security. The night had earlier seen Christina go on a date with Charlie and his ex-wife, Denise Richards, where the 'Two and a Half Men' actor's behaviour first caused concern. He is reported to have been drinking wine, vodka, and taking cocaine before being found with the Class A drug all over his face and his clothes off in a bathroom of a restaurant where he had tried to have sex with Christina.

Last Friday, the porn star also broke her silence, posting on her website: "Yes it's me, the mysterious hotel girl that everyone is talking about. "There really is not much to say, but I just want everyone to know - I'm fine. Please don't believe everything you hear in the news."

New York City police officers are not thought to be pressing any charges against Charlie.

'Tongue Boy' licks world record.

An Australian man has earned himself a place in the newly-released 2011 Guinness Book of World Records after his tongue was declared the widest in the world. Jay Sloot, 25, who is known as "Tongue Boy" to his friends, can lift 375ml cans of soft drink with his tongue, which has been measured at 7.9cm wide.

Sloot, who works at his family-owned business at the WA Water Ski Park in Perth's southern outskirts, said he realised he was a little different five years ago. Newsflow on contracts is expected to pick up in the coming months. We are looking at up to three potential contract wins by end-2010. Management hinted of a potential award of a large building project from the Middle East soon, which should make up at least 50% of the group’s target of RM2bn new jobs. This potential contract value of at least RM1bn was a nice surprise as we had expected the job to be worth around RM500m. The project should be the single largest project secured by any local contractor since 2009. One slight disappointment was management’s scaled-back expectations for the timeline of the implementation of the RM2bn Sabah water infrastructure project. This project is now likely to be awarded in 1Q2011 at the earliest, rather than 4Q10 as there have been no strong signs from the Sabah state government that it wants to push the project out sooner.

MEASAT has announced that it has made a conditional takeover offer to acquire all of the shares at RM4.20 per share in cash.

Key shareholders of MEASAT are:
Ananda Krishnan (59.56%)
Telekom Malaysia (15.39%)
KWAP (5.01%)

Together, they hold a combined 79.96% of the total shareholding.

Shares of MEASAT GLOBAL BHD jumped in early trade to RM4.08 on Thursday, July 29 after MEASAT Global Network Systems Sdn Bhd (MGNS) made an offer to take over the remaining shares at RM4.20 each. At 9.02am, it was up 28 sen tp Rm4.08 with 1.59 million shares done.

MGNS’s total acquisition cost is RM662 million, which will be satisfied fully in cash. Based on the offer price of RM4.20 per MEASAT share, MEASAT is valued at RM1.64 billion.

Sime Darby Bhd’s board has appointed Datuk Mohd Bakke Salleh as its new president and group chief executive officer to take effect “as soon as is practicable”. Bakke, currently group president and chief executive officer of Felda Global Ventures Holding Sdn Bhd, “has the necessary experience in corporate restructuring exercises as well as management expertise in the plantation and property industries,” Sime Darby chairman Tun Musa Hitam said at a press conference yesterday.

Musa also said while there were no resignations from the board for now, a lot would depend on the outcome of the forensic audit report on Sime Darby by August this year.

“The responsibility of the board and chairman of a corporation like Sime Darby is no different from that of ministers and a prime minister in the running of government. “If a department causes a scandal, then the normal practice is the relevant minister is responsible and in a worst-case scenario, the prime minister is also responsible. “I will go if I am found to be accountable. And so will the board,” he said. Asked whether more people within the group will be asked to go on a leave of absence, Musa said this would only be decided at such time as people were found guilty of misdeeds.

He also confirmed that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had been looking into Sime Darby and that the board had been giving its full cooperation. “We are opening ourselves to any reasonable level of investigation,” Musa said. He also said Sime Darby’s acting president and chief executive officer Datuk Azhar Abdul Hamid would remain in his position until such time when Bakke assumed his role.

Musa said Bakke was also chosen in view of his expertise and experience and his proven track record in managing large corporations. “He has the necessary experience in corporate restructuring exercises as well as management expertise in the plantation and property industries, among others,” he said. However, analysts presented mixed views on Bakke’s appointment to head Sime Darby.

“A newcomer into the conglomerate that is Sime Darby will always face a challenge as the group is so vast. It will take him a while to understand the businesses that the group is in, some of which are very complex,” said a head of research.

The earliest form of “vehicle mod” can be traced back to probably when horses were domesticated and individualised in every way imaginable. Native Americans painted them, knights donned them with colourful linen and cowboys saddled them with studded silver. Fast forward to the era of the automobile and vehicle customisation has become a huge fad – a platform for artistic automotive expression.

But let’s talk about resale value. The common automobile, like almost everything else on this planet, starts to depreciate in value as time goes by. Car modifications, as pleasing as they may seem in the eye of the beholder, generally tend to knock down the value of one’s car even further when compared to a non-customised or “stock” vehicle.

Used Autos Sdn Bhd owner Peter Wong, a Segamat-based used car dealer, explains: “The idea of vehicle modifications screams personalisation, meaning that the car is meant to suit the owner’s individual needs and no one else. “Because the vehicle will now end up looking totally different from what the manufacturer intended, the range of buyers you can attract will be limited.”

Still, there are vehicle customisations that can actually help increase, if not retain (rather than decrease) the resale value of your car.

Rims, or customised wheels, are among the most popular upgrades that could help boost your vehicle’s resale value, says Klang Valley-based tyre agent Vincent Pang. “Customised wheels not only positively impact the performance and handling of any vehicle, but they can help improve its value as well. Plus, they enhance your vehicle’s appearance,” Pang says. He, however, advises that customers should go for rims that are identical in size to the vehicle’s original wheels.

“A larger rim means more weight, meaning more effort is needed to spin the wheel and this could result in worse fuel economy. If you must go with a bigger wheel, choose alloy rims, which are lighter, as opposed to (heavier) steel ones.” Another trick is to compensate for the larger wheel with a lower profile tyre. This is to ensure that the diameter of the new wheel and tyre is the same as the original.

“Keeping the diameter of the new wheel and tyre package equal to the vehicle’s original wheel size should result in very little impact on fuel economy,” says Pang.

“Getting wider rims are also great for handling and stability, something that a lot of buyers look for in a car. However, these wheels will require wider tyres, which can cost more,” he adds. Jeremy Yeoh, a Kuala Lumpur-based used car dealer, says many vehicle owners are spending more on mobile electronics that help increase their car’s resale value.

“Aftermarket GPS navigation systems are quite popular with today’s drivers because they provide flexibility and mobility compared with systems installed by the car manufacturers. “These units, which can be stuck on practically anywhere within the vehicle cabin, come with added features such as UBS and Bluetooth connectivity, which are easier to update and use,” he says.

Aftermarket stereo systems are also popular, provided the installation is professionally done and does not interfere with the vehicle’s electrical system, says Wong. “I’ve known of car owners that installed crazy sound systems into their vehicles and the wiring job was poorly done. This caused an overload and the car caught fire.

“DVD entertainment systems are also quite popular, but it depends on the types of vehicle. These are ideal SUVs (sports-utility vehicles) and MPVs (multipurpose vehicles), which are great for carrying five to seven passengers during long trips.”

According to Yeoh, certain visual upgrades can also increase the resale value of a car if they are “not over the top” and legal. “Given our hot climate, adding a sun-roof or window tinting, as long as it is legal, can help garner a higher resale value.”

The group plans to seek separate listings for AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia so that investors can clearly choose to invest on geographic and business models. Analysts are not surprised by low-cost carrier AirAsia Bhd's (5099) plans to list three affiliated airlines separately as the group seeks to ease its financial strain.

The group said yesterday it plans to seek separate listings for AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia so that investors can clearly choose to invest on geographic and business models. Long-haul affiliate AirAsia X may seek an initial public listing as early as the second half of next year.

OSK Research Sdn Bhd aviation analyst Ng Sem Guan said it was just a matter of time before the decision was made for the three airlines to have their own cash flow statements given the heavy capital expenditure needed. "AirAsia would want AirAsia X to be independent and taken on their own aircraft funding," he said.

Standard & Poor's editorial director Shukor Yusof said that AirAsia's bankers and investors would view the news favourably as they would want it to remain focused. "Also, the idea is to list and separate the units that may draw negative investor sentiment and weigh down (AirAsia)," he told Business Times yesterday. The AirAsia group is executing a corporate and organisational restructuring to provide investors with a clearer and more focused business model.

"After more than two years of operation, we have begun to notice some dilution of the AirAsia business model and recognise the need for AirAsia and AirAsia X to remain focused on their respective markets," AirAsia group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes said in a statement yesterday.

He added that the reorganisation was timely for AirAsia X as it enters its next growth phase, and the arrangement will allow it the financial independence and latitude to develop its own marketing strategy. AirAsia X will now take over deployment of its own pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and commercial and marketing team.

The move would enable the airline to pursue its own commercial strategy and better develop its capabilities in long-haul service. It is currently completing a RM100 million rights issue exercise to achieve financial independence and fund its continued growth.

AirAsia X will see its fleet increase from 8 to 11 planes this year with the launch of more routes, including India, South Korea and Japan, by the end of the year. "While it continues to capitalise on the strength of the AirAsia brand, website and culture, this separation gives more focus and discipline to AirAsia X's model," Fernandes said.

AirAsia X, launched in November 2007, posted a net profit of RM87 million against revenue of RM720 million in financial year 2009. It aims to exceed RM1 billion revenue this year.

An active sex life and reading makes one healthy, wealthy and wise - that is the advice of Terengganu's Tokoh Nilam award winner Alias Ismail, 41, whose boundless energy during the day has surprised his colleagues. His colleagues at SMK Menerong in Hulu Terengganu, about 125km from Kuala Terengganu, have often wondered how the Bahasa Melayu teacher manages to remain energetic enough to conduct additional co-curriculum activities until late evening.

“They always ask me whether I consume jamu (traditional herbs) to keep me going,” said Alias. “Often, they are astonished when I tell them that it’s actually an active sex life and reading that makes one healthy, wealthy and wise.” Alias was the inaugural recipient of the state-initiated award to honour a teacher who has managed outstanding achievements in education.

He received the award from Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said at Dewan Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia in Kuala Terengganu. Alias also received a sponsored package to perform the haj.

The father of four said he made it a point to have sex daily before he and his wife retired for the night and felt it made him more agile and active. “A good and legitimate sexual relationship is a kind of energy booster for me and my wife that has not only kept our marriages ties cordial but also made our bodies and brains function remarkably,” he said.

Alias said he was able concentrate on his work after a “blissful” night with his wife. He added it was also a nightly ritual for both him and his wife, Rosmahwati Abd ullah, 41, to read a few pages of a book and have an intellectual conversation before moving on to other “activities”.

Foster urges United fans to quell Glazer protests

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has urged the club's supporters to stop protesting against the Glazer family's ownership and instead show their backing for the club.

Foster secured a £6 million move from United to Birmingham this week, and the 27-year-old's remarks are likely to stir up anger in the supporters he is leaving behind at Old Trafford. The Red Knights group of wealthy United supporters have recently promised to attempt to oust the Glazers from the club, which is carrying debts in excess of £700million.

Led by leading investment banker and former United director Jim O'Neill, the Red Knights have been inching towards lodging a formal bid for the Old Trafford outfit, which had been anticipated prior to the World Cup's opening game on June 11. However Foster believes the club is functioning well and suggests fans could make a greater contribution by diverting their energies.

"There's maybe too much made of it by the supporters," Foster said. "They are obviously passionate about Manchester United, but sometimes they need to focus on supporting the club a bit more than getting carried away with the technicalities of who's in charge.

A JOINT VENTURE between 1Malaysia Development Bhd (IMDB) and PetroSaudi International Ltd (PSI) has invested the bulk of its US$2.5 billion (RM8.1 billion) fund in energy projects all over the world. The investments were made in countries like Venezuela and in regions like Europe, said a source.

"The majority of the money has been invested," the source said. He declined to identify these projects. 1MDB and PSI set up the joint venture, which is 60 per cent held by PSI, in September 2009. 1MDB has invested US$1 billion (RM3.2 billion) in the tie-up while the rest came from PSI. PSI is based in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. It is a private company mandated to carry out investments to strengthen relationships between Saudi Arabia and key countries worldwide.

The joint-venture company was expected to actively make investments in the renewable energy sector. It was also meant as a vehicle for investments from the Middle East into the Southeast Asia region.

The award-winning Broadway musical West Side Story opened in style at Istana Budaya here, kicking off the Malaysian leg of its 50th anniversary world tour. The anticipation and excitement were almost palpable among the audience and when the curtains finally went up last night and the iconic balcony came into sight, the magic began. This retelling of the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet is set in 1950s New York. Rival gangs, the Jets and the Sharks, provide the colourful backdrop for the story between star-crossed lovers Tony and Maria.

Chad Hilligus and Sofia Escobar, who played Tony and Maria respectively, were together on stage for the first time and the chemistry between them left the audience wanting more. As the cast belted out well-loved classics like Maria, America, I Feel Pretty, One Hand, One Heart and Tonight, most in the audience were seen mouthing the lyrics.

Prior to the show, the audience stood for the national anthem.

The 70-member cast and crew, all of whom were flown in at the end of April for set-up and rehearsals, worked hard to bring the poignant love story to the Malaysian audience. The choreography was flawless and the costumes, breathtaking. Malaysia is the only stop in South-East Asia for this landmark world tour. West Side Story - The Original Broadway Musical is on until May 24.

Greece faces a May 19 due date on debt it says it can't repay without the help.

The new government cutbacks, which slash salaries and pensions for civil servants and hike consumer taxes, are being imposed as condition of getting a 110 billion euro (£93 billion) package of rescue loans from the International Monetary Fund and the other 15 European Union countries that use the euro as their currency.

An estimated 100,000 people took to the streets during a nationwide general strike that grounded flights, shut all services and pulled news broadcasts off the air. Hundreds of demonstrators - including far right wing supporters - broke away from the marches and tried to storm parliament, shouting "thieves, traitors." At the opposite end of the political spectrum, groups of anarchists hurled Molotov cocktails and ripped-up paving stones at buildings and police, who responded with barrages of tear gas.

Reigning world champion Jenson Button has won the Australian Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne. The McLaren-Mercedes driver won by 12 seconds, beating Renault's Robert Kubica who was second and Ferrari's Felipe Massa who finished third. Fellow Briton and Button team-mate Lewis Hamilton was pushing hard for fourth but was struck by Australian Mark Webber and the pair skidded onto the gravel on lap 57.

The two returned to the circuit but dropped to sixth and seventh respectively. The victory was Button's eighth win in his 172nd Grand Prix. The 30-year-old was able to take full advantage of a braking fault from fastest qualifier Sebastian Vettel on the 26th lap to storm away to victory.

This is his first win with his new team and the Briton struggled to describe his feelings after the race.

"It is very special," he said. "It has taken me a while to get to grips with the car but the team have been fantastic. "I don't know what to say, it is very difficult to put into words. I feel I am building in confidence. This is just too good." Ferrari's Fernando Alonso finished fourth and leads the championship with 37 points, ahead of Massa on 33 and Button on 31.

I've always been a fan of freshwater fishes - and in fact, I like it done in any style and any method. Usually, I would go for my favourite patins as well as soon hocks, as I find that these two types of freshwater fishes are perhaps the most universal of them all - and most easily available. However, not many restaurants can cook these rich freshwater fishes that well - and I'm constantly on the lookout for better restaurants.

Just last week - I had the chance to catch a glimpse - or I would say, a taste of some of the delicious dishes together with MyHorng and Suanie - as well as a few editors from the local magazines. The dishes were supposed to be a special one-month promotion only - and I feel so honoured and thankful that I had the opportunity to sample some of the best cookings in town. This place that we went to - was in fact, KL Hilton.

Suanie just cant wait for the dishes to be served....

For the whole month of March 2010, KL Hilton's Chinese restaurant - CHYNNA will be featuring an array of unique and premium (as well as rare) freshwater fishes and seafood options from various rivers of Pahang, Perak as well as Sarawak.

Lets proceed to the fish story anyways...

Steamed Pineapple Fish.

The name of the fish is actually very special - in fact, the fish was named as the 'Ong Lai' fish because of its similarities in shape to the fruit. Chef Lam had made sure the steaming process was perfect - to ensure the texture of the fish and the taste + the aroma were all in perfect condition. The fish was indeed very tasty - you could taste the freshness from the moment you sink your teeth into those delicious meat...

The Pineapple fish also came with very large scales - of which Chef Lam deep fried them into a very crispy and crunchy side dish - I could hear Suanie chewing 'krok krok krok' in her mouth... oooo yummyz....

The usual recommendation is with the Empurau Fish which is caught from the upper streams of the Kapit River in Sarawak - but Chef Lam substituted our fish with the patin king or patin wong - which turned out to be JUSTTT AS GOODDD!!! Together with a combination of eggplant, cabbage, tofu as well as green beans, the yellow curry also managed to bring out the freshness of the freshwater fish - it made the fish so juicy and super deliciousss!!!!

The 3rd and final fish dish of the meal was also cooked with the Patin Wong. Mind you - I've never tasted such good 'spicy and sour' fish before - and one thing I conclude is that - the sauce was truly awesomesauce!!!

See what I mean - Chef Lam is A LOT MORE FRIENDLY compared to Gerard.

Apart from the above 3 special styles of cooking, the Chef Lam whom I mentioned above - he's also the Executive Chinese Chef - will also present 2 other methods of preparing the fishes, as inspired by the Orang Aslis. Each and every method above enhances the rich and fresh flavours of the 100% wild-caught freshwater fishes. Adding onto that, Chef Lam also mentioned that these fishes are healthy and have various nutritional values - such as the Omega-3 fatty acids - which can lower the risk of heart attacks as well as elevating moods and help prevents certain cancers, cognitive decline and eye diseases.

The above promotion is only available throughout the month of March 2010 only - and is priced competitively at RM 180 onwards per kg. I think this price is considered to be very reasonable - bearing in mind most outside restaurants would already charge similar figures.

Just earlier last night I met up with my best friend Ezra - someone whom I've not met for such a long time already; I mean, its been like a whole month or two since we last met up. I have been so busy with work and then CNY and all - so the last minute meet-up was really very good to say.

Anyways, let me give you a bit more on Ezra.

Meet the guy himself.
Ezra is the guy whom I've known since I was in Junior 2 - back in Sekolah Sri Inai. This is like... wow... over 21 years ago. We used to be in different classes back then, then we got into the same class in secondary school. That was until Form 3 when he left for Geelong in Melbourne. Anyways, nowadays we usually meet up at Rasta for some drinks and so on - and Ezra is most famous to call me for directions!!!! I mean, he treats me as though I am the 'Telekom directory' or like what others call me - the 'Walking GPS'.

Lately, he's been a little occupied with a new project of his. He is currently hosting 'The Effing Show' - a weekly online newscast which is part of the PopTeeVee network. Do click on this link here for more weekly updates.

The Effing Show have so far been aired for the 3rd week running already - and its most recent episode features a music video of Ezra's own masterpiece - I am a MACHA. A very hilariously funny song - with an awesome video too.

Xpress Band at Zeta Bar, KL Hilton.

Its been awhile since I last went to Zeta Bar, and this was like 4 years ago perhaps - but anyways, we decided to pop into Zeta as there was this new band playing. The past bands were just average, but this band, Xpress was highly rated - so we came to check them out!

It was a full house crowd - and there were loads and loads of people pouring in - all races, all ages, both the men and the ladies... truly 1Malaysia at its best!

The Xpress Band made its appearance at Zeta Bar, KL Hilton last week. Performed in various other countries such as Bangkok, Singapore as well as Taiwan, the band actually originated from British Colombia, Canada and the USA.

The atmosphere was superb! There was just so much energy in the band!!!

The band performed a good repertoire of classic as well as current hits - and dumped in a few R&B and dance numbers as well. They were indeed very good at this - I mean, I was certainly very well entertained for the night!!!

You can see that the ladies were checkin out Marc and Patrick a lot...

The band will generally be performing every night at Zeta Bar, except Sundays where its closed. Do go and check them out - as they will only be performing from now til 30th April 2010 only - after which they continue touring again...

While the band consisted of 1 chic + so many other guys, my table consisted of so little guys + so many hot chics! Hehehe... thats Haze and this kwailo by the name of Jean (top right). The bottom is Bel, Jean, myself, FA and Jac.

Having a love child with the girlfriend of his best pal, who’s also a friend of his wife’s, would have spelled total disaster – even by his shocking standards of behaviour".

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Worshippers found severed heads of pigs at two Malaysian mosques Wednesday following a spate of firebomb attacks on churches amid a dispute over the use of the word "Allah" by Christians, officials said.

It was the most serious incident to hit Islamic places of worship following vandalism and other assaults at 11 churches, a Sikh temple, a mosque and two Muslim prayer halls across the Muslim-majority country in the past three weeks. Pigs are considered unclean by Muslims.

The attacks followed outrage among Muslims over a Dec. 31 court verdict that allowed non-Muslims to use "Allah" as a translation for "God" in the Malay language. Many Malaysian Muslims believe the word should be exclusive to their religion, and that its use by others could confuse some Muslims and even lure them to convert.

Several men who went to a suburban mosque to perform morning prayers Wednesday were shocked to discover two bloodied pig heads wrapped in plastic bags in the mosque compound, said Zulkifli Mohamad, the top official at the Sri Sentosa Mosque on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's largest city.

Two severed pig heads were also found at the Taman Dato Harun Mosque in a nearby district, said the mosque's prayer leader, Hazelaihi Abdullah.

"We feel this is an evil attempt by some people to aggravate tensions," Zulkifli told The Associated Press.

Government authorities have denounced the attacks on places of worship as a threat to decades of generally amicable relations between ethnic Malay Muslims, who make up nearly two-thirds of Malaysia's 28 million people, and religious minorities, mainly ethnic Chinese and Indians who practice Buddhism, Christianity or Hinduism.

Khalid Abu Bakar, the police chief of central Selangor state, urged Muslims to remain calm, saying he would meet community leaders to discuss the situation.

"The person responsible for this incident just wants to incite" anger, Khalid said.

The tensions center on a court dispute in which the Herald, a newspaper published by the Roman Catholic Church in Malaysia, argued it has the right to use the word "Allah" in its Malay-language edition because the word predates Islam and is used by Christians in other predominantly Muslim countries, such as Egypt, Indonesia and Syria.

The High Court ruled last month in favor of the Herald, overturning a years-old government ban on the use of the word in non-Muslim publications. The government has appealed the decision.

Among the attacks in various Malaysian states, eight churches and two small Islamic prayer halls were firebombed, two churches were splashed with paint, one had a window broken, a rum bottle was thrown at a mosque and a Sikh temple was pelted with stones, apparently because Sikhs use "Allah" in their scriptures.

The firebombings at the Islamic halls caused little damage except for scorch marks, but Zulkifli, the mosque official, said the pig heads were "a serious desecration." uthorities arrested 15 Muslim men in connection with the attacks on churches, and four other unidentified suspects linked to the attacks on the Muslim prayer halls.

The controversy has reinforced perceptions that the country is coming under the influence of hard-line Islam.

Last year, dozens of Muslims paraded with the bloodied head of a cow, a sacred animal in Hinduism, to protest the proposed relocation of a Hindu temple in their neighborhood. Minorities say they face institutionalized religious discrimination, citing problems such as slow approval to build new churches and temples. Government officials deny any bias.

Patrick Vieira has become the first signing of Roberto Mancini's reign at Manchester City with the former Arsenal captain returning to the Premier League on an initial six-month deal.

Vieira, who was voted the fifth greatest player in Arsenal's history in a poll in 2008, joins City from Inter Milan having failed to secure regular first-team football under Jose Mourinho this season and has the option of extending his deal by a further 12 months.

The France international is hoping that his move to City enables him to secure a place in Raymond Domenech's squad for the upcoming World Cup finals as he has not played a competitive game for his country since September 2007.

In signing one of the finest midfielders in Premier League history, City have acquired a player with a bulging trophy cabinet. Vieira has won the Serie A title three times, twice under Mancini at Inter, and claimed three Premier League titles and four FA Cups during his time at Arsenal.

Mancini expects that the 33-year-old's record of success at the top level will ensure he is a positive influence on a City side that the manager feels can still challenge for the Premier League title this season.

"Patrick is a world class midfielder with a winner's mentality and will fit into this group very well," Mancini told the club's official website. "He knows me and my staff well, and importantly he also knows what the Premier League is all about. He will not need much time to settle in.

Manchester United blew the chance to go level with Chelsea at the top of the Premier League as they were crushed 3-0 away at Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

United lost at Craven Cottage last season and the ground proved unlucky again as a poor pass from makeshift right-back Darren Fletcher saw Danny Murphy steal the ball from Paul Scholes and fire a 30-yard effort into the net in the 22nd minute.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome includes a group of inherited disorders that weaken connective tissue which supports skin, bones, blood vessels and other organs. People with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or EDS experience problems with their skin, joints, and blood vessel walls such as loose joints, fragile vessels, abnormal scar formation and would healing among others.

Prognosis of EDS depends on the type of the disorder. Symptoms vary depending upon the individual. Some people have negligible symptoms while others are severely rstricted in their daily life, according to wikipedia. Faulty genetics is responsible for all cases of EDS. For a child to inherit EDS, both parents need to carry the defective gene.

Diagnosis of this disorder may need a series of examinations including reviewing of a patient's family history. personal medical history, physical exam including testing of his joints fo laxity and his skin for texture and elasticity, biopsy and urine testing. The diagnosis of the disorder may involve dermatologists, rheumatologists, orthopedists and medical geneticists.

Treatments for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome include exercise, protection against injury to joints, fall prevention, eye exams, sun protection, surgery and vitamin C. People with EDS may need surgery to correct fracture and impaired joints. EDS affects both women and men equally. One in every 5,000 to one in 10,000 people have one of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

On Saturday, I made a date with my girlfriend to go watch 2012.

2012 is a movie about the Mayans, the Mayan calendar, how it will end the world, ~~meteor hitting the earth~~(Sorry that was Armageddon!) and how the world will end, lots of people dying and lots of people surviving to tell the new world, and the world eventually starts on a clean state... 0001.

There were the usual ads and trailers that I always look forward to before any movie. I'm such a 'trailer' fan.. hehe..

Suddenly, when the #everyoneconnects TM ad came on, some of the people in the cinema starting standing up and singing along to the 'Through My Window'.

Its TRULY A FLASH MOB!!!!!

I actually sneaked in my camera into the cinema - or actually, not sneak lah - we carry cameras everywhere wan so that can camwhore anytime mar!

A cinema with like hundreds of people suddenly 'woke up' to people standing up, singing along and dancing along to the ad!!!

Affin Bank & Hong Leong Bank to MERGE???

The Edge today reported the following.

Shares of Affin Holdings rose on speculation that the Guoco Group may look into a merger between HONG LEONG BANK BHD and Affin Bank Bhd. At 9.27am, Affin was up 20 sen to RM2.54 with 1.7 million shares done. Affin-WC rose five sen to 20 sen with 18.4 million units done.

The Edge weekly reported Guoco is believed to have put out feelers to gauge the possibility of raising ringgit funding in the domestic capital market. It was earlier reported that Guoco was busy accumulating shares in Bank of East Asia.

The report said speculation is rife of a merger between Hong Leong Bank Bhd and Affin Bank Bhd, in which Bank of East Asia owns 20.5%.

Gynae who had sex with patient suspended!

A GYNAECOLOGIST in Singapore has been suspended from his practice for two years for having sexual relations with a female patient and divulging infomation about other patients to the woman.

He also altered the records of these patients without permission, according to Sin Chew Daily. His suspension is effective from February last year. The daily reported that the 44-year-old doctor, who specialised in in-vitro fertilisation, had committed the offences between April 2003 and March 2005.

He was also reported to have bribed the female patient with about RM216,000 after she threatened to reveal their affair to his wife. He left Singapore in December 2005 to practise in London where he was also suspended in January this year.

Crest Builder lands RM145m job.

KUALA LUMPUR: CONSTRUCTION outfit CREST BUILDER HOLDINGS BHD has secured a RM145.3 million contract for super-structure works of a 35-storey office tower in Ampang, from privately-held Khor Joo Saik Sdn Bhd.

In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia today, Crest Builder said the contract was for a period of 24 months with completion scheduled for November 2011.

The company added that the contract would contribute positively to the earnings of the group from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2009.

Crest Builder's net profit and revenue of RM7.54 million and RM135.12 million for the first six months ended June this year were flattish compared to the previous corresponding period.

It is not clear exactly how large Crest Builder's order book is, but in its annual report for FY2008, the company said it had a 30% success rate in bagging some RM3 billion jobs it had bid for in 2008.

According to its annual report, Crest Builder is controlled by managing director and founder Yong Soon Chow who has about 45% equity interest in the company. Crest Builder closed today at 80 sen, up three sen.

I enjoy eating fried chicken, and it has became a monthly routine of at least two different fried chicken sessions with Colonel Sanders. But recently, I had some brand new craving... I havent had Marrybrown Fried Chicken for a very long time - and mind you, there are seriously not many Marrybrowns around KL.

The baby boy, who created national headlines when he was born on an AirAsia plane, has been named Asia Liew Ya Hang. His mother Liew Siaw Hsia said the Chinese name ‘Ya Hang’ means ‘AirAsia’ in Mandarin.

“It’s the best name I can give my son who was the first baby born on the airline’s plane,” she said in a statement yesterday. The mother and baby are currently at the Putrajaya Hospital.

Asia Liew Ya Hang was safely delivered on board Flight AK 6506 on Oct 21 when the aircraft was about 800m in the air. The flight from Penang to Kuching was diverted to the low-cost carrier terminal here when Liew went into premature labour.

The airline has presented Liew and the baby free flight tickets for life to celebrate the birth.

Yup, I was super puzzled - not knowing what one catchy song was until I finally heard some friends talking about the mystery today!!! As a matter of fact, the secret was just revealed a couple of hours ago...

Liverpool & The Beach Balls!

Liverpool say that normal rules about bringing objects into the stadium will apply on Sunday, and fans will be searched randomly in conjunction with this policy.

Given the fact that bargain 'beach sets', reduced from £20 to just £10, have completely sold out at the club's online store since Saturday night, it is safe to assume that one of the banned items will be a certain, large, red beach ball.

The thing about inflatable beach balls though, is that they can also be deflated. And reduced to very, very small packages. And hidden rather easily about the person. And smuggled in to just about any venue. Including football grounds. Even heavily stewarded football grounds.

Now, I'm not an expert on the consumer trends of northern England, but I'd hazard a guess that some of those bargain beach sets snapped up over the weekend made their way to addresses in the proximity of the Manchester area. And, let's face it, to addresses in the proximity of the greater London area as well.

So when Manchester United visit Anfield on Sunday, expect - no doubt at some crucial stage during the game - a spectacular avalanche of huge, spherical objects to cascade down from the corner of the Anny Road end.

Will we see another blunder again by Liverpool?

By the looks of things, most likely.

The Liverpool fans should just head to the beaches with the balls and play with themselves. The Premier League is really not for you.

Don't you hate it when at times you get into a car and then on the radio and you catch a part of a really awesomely catchy song, wiggle your body along to the music and not know what the name of the song is?

Worst part is when you only manage to listen to the ending and the bits and pieces of the song and you can't get the lyrics right - so googling is oh so not useful! I think even calling up the radio station is a deterrent as sometimes the shows are pre-recorded and I don't think I feel comfortable humming a song that I just heard to some complete stranger *shyness*

So what do I resort to?

Texting my friends or calling them and asking if they heard the radio. Heck, with the advancement of technology, I can just post a twitter or facebook shout out to ask and the response is just splendid!

Well, the same thing happened again today and I caught this really catchy tune on the radio, but I need help -.- I managed to catch the lyrics but I can't seem to look for the song to download - searched youtube too and there aren't any indications of the song nor the artist!

It goes something like this ...

Any got a clue who the artist is? Because googling the lyrics resulted to no results that matched. So I googled You and Me... do you know what I got?

I didnt attend the press conference, but then babyboo @jaclynchew did; so I'm technically stealing some of her photos from the conference. Apparently they had to wait damn 9 long, but then thank goodness @kennysia had some VIP tickets... hehehehe... nice!

Last night, myself and my boo went over to Din Tai Fung at Gardens, Midvalley to check out what they had. The selections on the menu was quite limited, but the food was pretty good.
